Set & Send for Snapmaker U1 (free, unofficial OrcaSlicer add-on by LayerLab)

Full illustrated guide, updates and tip jar:

Before you start: in OrcaSlicer, select your Snapmaker U1 printer, click the Wi-Fi icon next to
Printer, enter the U1's IP address (from its touchscreen network settings) and click OK. Keep that
printer selected when you print; if Print stays greyed out, the selected printer has no IP address.

Quick start for the regular OrcaSlicer release (script version, works in any OrcaSlicer):
1. Install Python 3 from https://www.python.org/downloads/
(Windows: tick "Add python.exe to PATH").
2. Move set_and_send.py somewhere it can stay (e.g. Documents/Set and Send), then double-click it.
A window shows a line for your computer, selected: press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac) to copy it.
3. In OrcaSlicer: select your U1 process preset. Make sure the settings switch next to Process
isn't on Simple (Advanced or Expert), then Others tab > Post-processing Scripts, paste the line,
   and save the preset.
4. Press Print (not Export). OrcaSlicer's upload window opens first: click Upload & Print. Then
Set & Send's pop-up shows each filament next to the toolhead it will print from (matched to the
spools loaded on your U1), the top cover mode and what its fans will do, and your print options:
auto leveling, flow calibration and time-lapse, plus auto-refill, tangle detection, unloading
and lights off under Advanced options. Press Send to U1.

Using OrcaSlicer Nightly or the 2.5 alpha? Use the plugin instead (not both):
https://cloud.orcaslicer.com/app/plugins/plugin-hub/5ff7e03e-bb1e-4bba-9c19-43ab523801e7
Subscribe, open the Plugins window in OrcaSlicer (small file icon next to File, click Refresh if
needed), tick Activate, then add "U1 print setup" under Others > Slicing Pipeline Plugin. The
first time you slice for your U1, OrcaSlicer asks whether Set & Send may reach your printer: click
Yes (you're only asked once).

The regular OrcaSlicer release skips plugins without a word: a preset set up with the plugin prints
straight away there, with no pop-up. On the regular release, use the script above.
